Dear Editor,
When are our governments local, state and federal going to learn to avoid the perfect storm? Why are they setting up the conditions for so much damage to small farmers by giving GM an 'all-clear,' when there are so many obvious problems with the stuff. Just because GM crops look like normal crops, doesn't mean they are. Cocaine looks like flour, so does that mean cocaine is identical to flour, and also good to eat?
I agree with Bob Phelp's letter one hundred percent. Let's make each and every politician take a stand on the GM issue, and when they tell us they love GM food, then make them eat it by the barrel full, and remove them from representing us, because they don't. They represent corporate interests. Period.
